Our Storage and Use of Personally Identifiable Information
When you buy something on this website you provide Personally Identifiable Information such as your name, shipping address, email address, and payment information. We use Personally Identifiable Information to support the products and services offered on our website, to notify you of technical updates or changes in policy, and to deliver other customer services. We also may use Personally Identifiable Information to offer you new products and services. In addition, we may use your Personally Identifiable Information to send you notices about upcoming events (such as the release of new products) or otherwise correspond with you about products and services. You may opt-out of receiving such notices.
Golden Rule Enterprises (GRE) does not rent, sell, or share Personally Identifiable Information it collects about you to or with third parties without your prior express permission. However, GRE may disclose Personal Identifiable Information to authorized entities if required to do so by law, and to satisfy the structural requirements of electronic commerce (that is: of course the payment processors, etc., have your Personally Identifiable Information, otherwise we couldn’t do business).
We use safe and secure storage practices of your Personally Identifiable Information. We use SSL (secure socket layers) to deliver our website content to your browser(s). GRE DOES NOT store your payment information on our servers. We use secure payment processing via PayPal and USAEpay. PayPal and USAEpay hold themselves to a standard of excellence regarding security practices (as does GRE).
Hacking and Security Breaches
GRE will take reasonable steps to protect the security of all Personally Identifiable Information provided to this website. However, due to the inherent nature of the Internet, we cannot guarantee that information, during transmission or while stored on our system or otherwise in our care, will be absolutely safe from intrusion by others. If there is a data breach in our system we will inform you as soon as we know that it happened. If such breaches occur with our trusted associated service providers (payment processors, etc.) we will inform you as soon as we find out.
We send email messages to customers who have provided us with their email address and have elected to receive mailings. If you opt out of promotional emails, we may still send email messages related to your purchase of products or services.
If you live in Europe and do business with us we will abide by all relevant EU rules that affect our interactions with you.
