Levon IV found himself in difficult circumstance during his reign, had to cede territory, was murdered by the nobles, who replaced him with a puppet. Didn’t help the situation any, that they did that.
Medieval Armenia was a nation run by Armenians, but it was in a different place than modern Armenia. Cilicia, where medieval Armenia was, in in southeastern Turkey. The dynasty is called Rupenid.
