Description

Tukoji Rao III was the 13th Maharaja of Indore, ruling from 1903 to 1926. He was elevated at the age of 13. There wasn’t much for a Raja to do at that time. He hung around dabbling in things until he got involved in a murder. The British pushed him out and replaced him with his son.

Indore is the largest city in Madhya Pradesh state. It is famous for its cleanliness. It was founded in the 16th century as a trading center. The Marathas took it from the Mughals. Malhar Rao Holkar was appointed as the Maratha administrator. His descendants ruled Indore until Independence.
