Description
It’s not impossible that this was 18th century Japanese export ware purchased by an 18th century Italian merchant. More likely might be a story like an Italian seaman of the late 19th century bought them in Japan and took them home to the wife.
Over the decades I’ve been selling collectibles my market has been about 97% coins, 2% paper money, 1% everything else.
