Description
What I’ve seen and heard about the availability of these West African currency items is that there have been thousands or tens of thousands of all types in the “traditional money” market over the last 40 years or so, and that less than 100 small traders have brought out all of it.
I searched “purrpurr african iron currency” on google and it gave me a nice AI response. Used as late as 1939 in marriage ceremonies, it told me.
Over the decades I’ve been selling collectibles my market has been about 97% coins, 2% paper money, 1% everything else.
