By the State Tretyakov Gallery. The gallery was started in 1856 and remains open today. I found a note on an Ebay stating that this postcard was made in 1937, year of purges.

When I was in Europe in 2017 I saw shops selling antique postcards in a number of cities close to the rail station where the rents were high. Postcards are apparently bigger than coins over there.

Over the decades I’ve been selling collectibles my market has been about 97% coins, 2% paper money, 1% everything else.
