The onlik was a 10 akje coin. Ottoman gold coins of this period were usually well struck. They couldn’t bring themselves to care about the silver.

Osman II came to the throne at the age of 14 in 1618. He tried to get stuff done, but results were subpar. He was overthrown by a revolt by Palace Jannisaries, who captured and executed him.
