Description
Trilobites were one of the earlier groups of arthropods. They were a diversified group that roamed sea floors for about a quarter of a billion years, The last of them died during the Permian extinction, 250 million years ago.
I heard a paleontologist on the radio making a statement that fossils in general are extremely common and can be found all over the place.
